My favorite RW story (which I've heard 2nd hand from a reliable source)... He used to play Warhammer 40K, and went to one of the west coast stores once to get something (paints? figures?), and there was a kid there, sitting alone, sad, because he had gotten stood up for a war.
Robin saw that, asked why he was so sad, and went back out to his car, grabbed his army (space elves painted rainbow colors, as an ally). They then played a war, or 2, or 30 - with Robin narrating the war, in voices, while people, in the store, gathered around to watch. Afterwards, he thanked the kid, and left.
